Hey, have just found a place that hires out toys.
www.pixietoyhire.co.nz
It's based in wellington so would be perfect for welly chicks! and actually the courier charge isn't too bad for Palmerston North either. Might be too much for me...unless I get Dad to pick it up and courier it. then HE pays! Woohoo. Like that idea lots!

i've been thinking about joining a toy library lately. jack has 'grown out' of all his toys but i'm not sure what to get for his next step up.
i figure i'll hire some and maybe buy the ones he really enjoys

palmy has a toy hire place - well - it hires out the big slides and exersaucers and playhouses and cosy coupe cars and bouncy castles - the slides and playgrounds are around $30 for a week - which is pretty good.   it's called funtogo toys

at www.funtogo.co.nz

I love the toy library, need to go back this week actually.. I've heard of Pixie Toy hire but would only use it for a birthday or something.

I hire big slides and cars and things for $4 for 2 weeks. everything else is between $1-3 a fortnight. We pay a yearly fee as well, but isn't really much when you think of how many toys you get.
