Topic: Transport to and from Airport... Posted: 29 August 2008 at 9:17am |
|
Does anyone have any suggestions for transport to the Airport?
We were going to take our car there and then have it put into storage by one of the companies there, but we are looking at $20.00 a day and we don't have that sort of money as we need it for our trip to OZ soon.
Not sure if shuttles have carseats in them?
Our flights are in the day time so no nasty early morning or late night flights.
How did you get to the airport? Friends? I was thinking maybe I could get my parents to take us there and then someone would have to drive in also to take the other person home. We are only 15 mins from the airport anyway.

I think Emma is still dropping me off at the airport. As I am driving up to Auckland so I need somewhere safe to leave my car.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

There is that shuttle type thing that does pick ups and drop offs. You could ring and ask about carseats, surely they would have some set up for carseats?? They advertise on TV but can't think of the name....it will come to me. They seemed quite reasonable I think. Will get back to you, someone else might know???

Im happy to drop you off if you want and then drop your carseats somewhere for when someone picks you up or whatever.
Are you not taking carseats with you? If so it might work out cheaper just grabbing a shuttle there and back otherwise it gets SO costly having your car stored at the airport.

I think that Super Shuttle is the way to go as they can store our carseats for us
