Hi. Hope this is an ok question to ask.
Would people be interested in buying homemade, never used bassinet sheets if they were avaailable on trademe at really competitive prices?
What price would you be willing to pay for a bassinet sheet set?

Hiya, i would buy homemade bassinet sheets, i was looking on TM the other day and there were some on there but i cant remember how much they were?? i think the cheapest ive seen in the store are $20 for a set (one flat and one fitted).

The ones on trademe are $29 and not homemade. At least the ones I saw. These sets would be both flat.

You could make some so that the top sheet is really wide so you can make up the bed how they do in the hospital.
(you lay the top sheet on the bottom of the bassinet and then put the mattress on top of that and put the bottom sheet on, then place bubs in and wrap one side over, tuck in and then the other side over and tuck in, i have never seen any sheets made big enough to be able to do this)

No I wouldn't because I used cot sheets the fitted sheet wrapped around my mattress a few times so that helped if she leaked to keep the mattress dry.
ETA: Some babies aren't in bassinets long so imo it would be a waste of money when you can use cot sheets which do just as good a job and last longer.

I wouldn't unless they were fitted, as I just use cot sheets too. In saying that, I recently made some soft fleecy fitted bassinet ones because it could be cool still when this little one is born.I really like fitted bottom sheets, they are easy to stick on as opposed to flat, and I couldn't find any nice winter ones around.

I've always just used the red strip flat cloth nappies as bassinette sheets. They are the perfect size, and you can just pile them up one on top of the other for spilly babies.
Not sure if there is a market for just flat sheets. I know for the cot we only use fitted ones as DD is in a sleeping bag.
