fornightly usually... has been known to roll into the third week...or fourth (not often though) sometimes, I do it after a week. not often though, depends on how hot it has been. Jake? the same. He has his day sleep on top of the bed. Charlotte? weekly, she is a drooling tummy sleeper, so they get grotty. I short sheet her anyhow. Wow, the people who say they do it every cpl of days are either liars or bored!

the only time I ever changed our sheets every 2nd day was when we lived in Japan and at night it was over 90% humidity and we sweated like pigs - don't be dirty!!! thats sweating while sleeping. so so so ick! and the sheets would literally be wet in the morning. i would air them on day one and then changeon day two. drove me nuts though. don't know why anyone would do that voluntarily....UNLESS one weird person said 2 days and no-one else wante d to be thouight of as the "dirty girl"...so all said "oh yes me too" but5 secertly thought "every 2 weeks maybe" thats my theory anyway

Nothing like "New sheet Bed" but in saying that I absolutely hate washing sheets, it always rains when I put them out on the line and I give up..so when the mood strikes me I'd say every 3 wks for us, and the kids are prolly every 2 wks, if it doesn't rain.

Yay - Dh and I kept thinking we were lazy and disgusting, but we are normal! Anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 weeks I would say, with the odd sooner and later.
How many sheet sets would you have to have to change every 2 days? Heaps! Not to mention using a dryer or something to get them dry, we wouldn't have enough room in our limited linen closet to keep them all!

I was a lot more efficient with Maya's cot - I only had one of her and she was in daycare which gave me time to change the sheets. But the safety sleeps take ages to get right on the cots, so with two to change it takes me half an hour to strip and change them both so it's a real performance. Oh and I am lazier. Second baby thing.

before I got pregnant every 3rd day, but our beds so big I can barely change it so DF does once a week now for me.
Haleighs once a week, when she was little it was every 3rd day I'd do it with ours and air out her mattress at the same time.

I change ours probably somewhere in between every week and fortnightly, then I have to have a shower and shave my legs - nothing like that smooth leg feeling on clean sheets. But I do admit when I was pregnant it was probably more like once every 3 or 4 weeks as I couldn't be bothered moving my tubby tummy round the bed

This thread reminded me of a neighbour in my dorm at uni -- she hardly EVER changed her sheets, and her reasoning was that she takes a shower at night, so she's clean when she gets into bed, so therefore, the sheets weren't getting dirty. (She used this same logic for her towels as well -- she was clean when she got out of the shower, so her towels weren't getting dirty either, apparently.)
