The biting begins

   I was talking to the creche manager who told me a story about Hannah which made me laugh until I cried.

Apparently my little monkey has started biting. That isn't in itself that exciting, but apparently this morning she was sliding down the slide at creche (face first - idiot!) and bumped into a child at the bottom of the slide who was blocking the way. Hannah tried to get the kid to move by pushing him to one side but he was so engrossed in what he was doing that he completely ignored her. Her next effort to get his attention was to slowly (and very carefully) place her teeth on his arm, not before looking around to check if anyone was watching. Unfortunately for Hannah, the creche manager, Jean, caught her in the act and said very loudly and clearly (in that creche-managery-voice) "Hannah, I don't think you want to do that." Hannah froze, removed her teeth (she hadn't actually clamped down) and sat up to pat the boy on the head and say "Ahhhhhh".

Now if that wasn't the most calculated attack I have ever come across in a one year old. Atleast I can say she is very aware of what is right and wrong. Now she has no excuse for being naughty!
