I don't usually start to freak out until 1st December....so that gives me one more week to bury my head in the sand! |

Ellas already started counting down the days until Christmas and Santa arrived at our local mall today so she is SOOOOO excited about Christmas. We have a very busy Dec coming up with Christmas parties (for the kids) every weekend so I imagine the next 4 weeks are going to go by extremely fast. Christmas shopping for the kids almost finished...now need to focus on everyone else. |

I'm really excited about it this year the kids are bigger and my Mum and Dad will be here. All presents have been brought, the tree will go up on the first. Or more likely this weekend after the Santa Parade What do you all do for Christmas Day ?

Our Xmas day is going to be weird this year, usually we spend the day traipsing from my Dad's to my Mum's to my IL's to visit everyone and have a meal at each house.
Having moved though we have no family around so will just be DH, DS and I. We are just going to have a day entirely for DS, go the beach, the park, have a BBQ dinner and maybe catch up with some friends at some point.
Will be interesting to see what any others in our situation do.

My family all live overseas and DH is an only child so it'll be myself, DH, the kids and my IL's this year and we'll have Christmas lunch at our place where DD and DS can nap comfortably when they need to and seeing as their main gift from us will be on our back lawn they'll be able to play the day away Which also give me an excuse to do all the planning, cooking and baking - I love doing all three!
Thankfully everyone is pretty relaxed so it'll be a nice chilled out day with lots of good food and fun times with the kids!

#1 was badgering me to put up the Xmas tree this morning.....
I've done DH's xmas present & 90% of #1's present, haven't done #2's present. Am working on Mum's present & freaking I won't have it done in time! Not sure what to get Dad, need to get a nice photo of the kids as well for Gma's present. And then all I have to do is get something for my niece who's turning 1yo on the 22nd. So need to actually get her two things!

I'm so excited!! Don't have any pressies yet but don't care - Christmas is more about family & tradition for us anyways... Looking forward to 3 weeks off with the kids and some travel and seeing family etc etc...
It still feels like it should be the beginning of the year though - it has gone SO fast!!
