I dont normally drink instant coffee, but when I do, I drink the Gregs Red Ribbon Fine Blend.
Now, this is the second coffee i've had since i've opened the new packet and it tastes really odd.. almost.. like its got some chemical thats not sposed to be in it. Only thing I can compare it to is the nail polish remover smell, only I can taste it (not only me, others in the house have noticed this too) Has anyone else had a dodgy batch from them? I'll be ringing them up for a replacement today - $10 a packet is a little bit too much to write off as a bad experience.

I haven't had that one, but we got a jar of Nescafe Noir which was a bit dodgy a while back. It tasted a little off and the granules wouldn't dissolve properly.
We emailed them, they told us to send them the rest of the jar back. Within a week we got a cheque for $20 from them.
 So definitely contact them.

Hehehe, I can't help but remember when I started complaining that my coffee tasted off, a week later I found out I was expecting Ella!
I'd email them too, its worth seeing if you can get it replaced or refunded.

EWW Coffee is one of my treats and if I had forked out $10 for some to find out it was 'off' I would definitely be complaining

Hmm. All instant coffee tastes like that to me I'm afraid. It either tastes like chemicals or like weetbix dissolved in water. Might just be the brand?
