be careful that message itself could be the virus.

where did the message come from? if it is not from your anitvirus then ignore it! then run a virus check using whatever your antivirus software is.

if its from that link yougot then it is just an advertisement.

hubby says if you have norton or mcafee or something like that then you should be fine and ignore that message. its a scam.

if the message about buying something is related to the link that originaly says you have problems then its advertising and a big scam. just get rid of it. if the message didnt come from your antivirus then definitley ignore it.

Yep thats just a ad. Don't worry about it, your computer should be fine.
A good program to download is malware bytes as it works wonders along side an antispyware and antivirus program
link
Just click on download free version on the left hand side.

Dont put in your credit card info its a scam! one of my friends just did it (stupid stupid boy) and of course it charged him all sorts of random things and had to get new c/c number etc and it also put a virus on his comp.

*edit thats if it is just a pop up, not a message coming from your actually antivirus. You shouldnt have to pay anything with avast free version
