Any idea if there is anywhere in Hamilton that specialise in kids haircuts? I cannot find anywhere!
 Recommendations are greatly appreciated!
 Thanks!

Don't think so but I get DS done at the barber at Chartwell cause he is my BIL.     I've ssen somewhere someone has little cars that kids sit in while they have their hair cut. I can't recall where that was though.

I dont' think this will offend bessiebear as she is saying brother in law and i think it is a different place.
Do not under any circmstance go to the hair cutting place upstairs in chartwell square. Just cuts or master cuts can't remember the name but it is a chain. Not the one next door that sells GHD's and lots of product. They have a number of people cutting hair up there so in all fairness I might have got a bad one but she butchered my daughter.   I could have done better myself and have done better before with the kitchen scissors. Her fringe was uneven and so short it will take months to grow back. We can't even it up as there isn't enough left. There is no shape to her long hair which is now 2 inches shorter and not at a short or long length and just looks inbetween. The lady was blonde with a eastern european accent if that helps to narrow it down.

So yes I am interested in a recommendation too.

I usually get my own hair done at just cuts lol (convienience) but for the past 4 cuts, it has been horrible so I hear ya on that one!
It's my little girls first hair cut (9 months old) so wanted it to be kind of special with people who deal with babies/kids a lot of the time. There used to be a few around a few years ago at rototuna and 5 cross roads but have closed.

I take DS 2.5 to Just Cuts ,Chartwell.and have never had a problem.DS is terrified of having his hair cut and as it grows really quicky he goes quite alot. They are always very patient with him(he screams and wont sit still).
They put on a dvd for him and give him a lollipop and that calms him down a bit.

We use Just Cuts in Chartwell too and havn't had any issues. Although so far only Ollie has had his hair cut and I *think* boys haircuts are harder to get wrong. When I eventually get Lilia's hair cut then it may be a different story.

LOL Nope he doesn't work at just cuts. At the barber by the door at the back of Shampoo and things. I hate just cuts. I got my hair done there and then 3 days later got it re done done at Rodney Wayne.  I am still looking for a good hairdresser than doens't cost so much money.

Anyone had any luck yet in finding a good hair dresser for kids? My lil boy has gorgeous long ringlets and sadly, it has come time to get them cut off :-( we had a fringe trim once at just cuts Chartwell, and the BUTCHERED his hair. Took months to grow back, and was awful!

Rachyram. Go out to murrayrose barber in Hilcrest. Jason there is my Brother in law. He is really good with kids (has 2 of his own). I think that a child's first hair cut they do for free. (don't quote me on that)
