Caitlin got this set from Toy World (ahem.. I mean Santa ) for Christmas.
She loved it and even had her Christmas dinner at it. When she stood up, the chair fell back and the back of the chair split and splintered! I took it back to the shop to tell them how dangerous it was and asking if for my money back and she said "it's not my fault if your kid was too heavy on the chair" These tables are designed for bigger kids as well as toddlers, Caitlin is only 10.5kg!!!!
So grrr to that woman and also GRRR at Bunnykins for making such a cheap and nasty product and charging so much for it!
I got my money back as Toy World won't be getting ANY more tables & chair sets in until next Xmas! So now I'm trawling the net looking for a replacement |

They look soo cute but I don't think I'll be buying one now. Just as well it didn't happen when Caitlin was sitting on it or goodness know what would have happened |

   Bugger! That sucks Toni!
Maya has a set that is third hand from some friends, was hand made by friends of theirs and the chairs even cope with ME sitting on them on occasion!

Giddy Giraffe make gorgeous ones, and her stuff is great quality...

My mum was going to buy Alex a bunnykins set for Xmas, so glad she didn't. That is terrible. I thought they would have been really good quality, especially at the price!!

We got an Ikea one when we were in Aust also & its fantastic.  Its a hard plastic & it comes in mauve, lime green or light blue.  You can buy the table, chairs & stool all seperate so buy what you need.  They hold our weight & dh is 6'2" & not a small boy!!  The legs are all slightly flared so as to make them more stable.  One of the best things we have bought for the girls Thats a horrible thing to happen - fancy saying that Caitlin was too heavy for it,  it is meant to be made for kids to use and play with, if it cant handle being sat on what use is it at all?? |

Have you checked Ezibuy? They have lovely table and chairs... they have a hole in the middle of the table so she stash things in it and hide them from you |

The Ikea plastic wasn't cheap but I can see it lasting for a long time, I think from memory (not always reliable) table was reduced to $25 (from $50 i think) chairs were $25 & stools were $10.  If I get a chance will take some photos tomorrow & put them on

they aren't heavy just bulky, we actually put ours in a car that we were having freighted back.  Maybe worth ringing around to see if you can get them freighted back as fillers in containers - I'm not sure if that would work but may be worth a try.  They also have other bedroom furniture tho not cheap - very cute.  We also got  a couple of lights for the walls they are very cute & lots of designs - want to get some more!!!  Have this one    SMILA BLOMMA wall lamp $14.95 More options
Would love to get this one SMILA STJÄRNA wall lamp $14.95
