Hi can any of you lovely ladies tell me is excessive burping normal. After I've eaten I start and it is usually and hour or so before I stop. Is this normal or am I just full of hot air.

I've always maintained one policy in regards to farting (or burping), better out than in !! |

My midwife with Kiya told me that its because your digestive system slows down while you're pregnant to give your body the chance to absorb the maximum benefit from your food... which means that its sitting in your digestive tract longer, so (sorry ) rots a little, resulting in excess methane gas. Made sense to me!
