I think I have it (swollen tonsils with pus on them, ick ). I'm going to the doctor tomorrow but want to know if I'm ok to go to work tomorrow (teaching). It gets worse in the evening so I don't feel as sick during the day.
 What do you think?

Yeah it doesn't say on wikipedia if it's contagious or not, and other websites I've seen have various "opinions".....

Yeah I think you're right KA..... viral or bacterial? Something like that. I don't know what mine is. It's really really painful when I swallow and I have this gross pus kinda thing on one side. Had the sore throat/cough/lost my voice thing for over a week now, every time I think it's going away it comes back with a vengeance at night time! Urgh I'm so over being sick!

I bet its Tonsilitis with Capious Puss! Something along those lines, its little white circles of puss down you throat..
Not contagious, just hurts heaps, you will get given antiB's..

Just dont go kissing everyone lol

 Hope you get better soon..

Liz how nasty. I've had that and it is sooo painful. I don't think it's contagious but you're sick and need to stay home to get better. You probably need a week off so get the doctor to give you a med cert if you need to. Your body is fighting an infection. Be kind to yourself.
