I make up baby mush with veges etc. at home for them, so thats no probs, it's more when we're out and about it's hand to have a jar or two of baby food just in case, and when we're away this weekend it's not really practical to take the frozen stuff.

I don't know much about it, but could you 'preserve' baby food? thinking along the lines of sterilising the old baby food jars and boiling the lids to re-seal them. If the food is hot, the jars are hot and the seal soft, as long as there is no air left in it, the jar should reseal again and you can keep it in the cupboard.
Don't know how well it would work, just thinking aloud. All the best |

Little wench, she played up a shocker last night, and I felt sorry for her thinking it was a combo of the reaction and maybe teething, and so I got her up and gave her cuddles and she starts smiling and giggling, put her back in the cot and the next thing I hear the pair of them chattering away in there, she'd woken Sienna up too Lucky they're so cute and snuggly!

Oh Emma - allergies SUCK the big kumara!!  (ooohhh... is Kumara not allowed?!?  He ha).  It's stressfull enough having one with a proper allergy (don't get me started on people who's child has an intolerance and they call it an 'allergy'.... ggrrrrrrr!!!), but THREE?!??  That's a heck of a lot of work and so much more stress!  Did you throw a tanty in the end?  I'd have done it.  Might I suggest some crying, the occasional shreak through gritted teeth, then some chocolate and wine Go easy on yourself - you've got THREE with heinous allergies (or suspected, which is just as much work).  It's a 'life isn't fair' moment. Ooohhh - I like your idea, Cathrine.  Anyone tried it?  Did it work?   |

Oh Emma, it sounds like you're having a tough time. to you. What a little rascal waking up and playing! They are both so cute though, I have to smile thinking of them talking away to each other.
