I heard max have maternity jeans but I have not seen them. I got some great ones from Jeans West for 50 dollars which was awesome. Has anyone seen the max ones or recommend any other good ones? |

EGG jeans are awesome, I have 2 pairs, different styles and I still wear them You can get them for decent prices on Trade Me, their sizing is a bit funny, but I am a 10/12 pre preg and a size 1 in EGG jeans.
I have some Max ones, and I didnt like them much.

I had the max ones and really liked them. I got them really early on though and it was summer by the end of my pregnancy so I think I mainly wore them in the 2nd trimester.

Egg ones are awesome. The best I have tried by FAR.   I got a really good second hand pair, with pretty much no wear for $60.

Hi just bought some from Kid Republic and I LOVE them... but they were a fair bit more than I was initially keen to pay at $150-ish. But know I they will get a lot of wear this winter.

I have had max ones, pumpkin patch and egg ones. The egg ones totally depend on which style you choose, I had some egg ones in first pregancy and really liked them but sold them this time round as my shape seemed to have changed and they were uncomfy. Out of all of them I probably liked the max ones the best, were good very early on as they looked really normal when you just can't quite get into normal jeans. In the middle of pregnancy they were okay, but now at end of pregnancy they are great as they sit below the bump, just get a long singlet to tuck in. The jeans with lots of extra bands etc at the top don't seem as good late in pregnancy as the bands don't seem to stay over the bump and just bunch underneath. I wore my max ones for quite a while after my last pregnancy to until I fitted normal ones again. Sorry for the novel!!

I got a pair of Dorothy Perkins (UK brand I think) maternity jeans from someone on trademe for $20 (they'd barely been worn) but I lived in them for the last 20wks of pregnancy and they still look new. They were so comfy and look really expensive I will definitely be holding onto them for when I get UTD with #2!

Oh really? lol I don't know, I just know they are good jeans! My fav pair of non-maternity jeans are also Dorothy Perkins. I got them when we were in Ireland (DF is Irish). They are great cause they keep their shape.... all other jeans I have bought (Glassons, jeans west etc) always stretch and go all saggy round the bum lol

I got a pair of maternity jeans from the Warehouse, in the Maya Mum To Be section, and they're great. Cost me $30 (usually $40 tho I think). I wore them for a while after baby too but now they are too loose lol

I've got some Pumpkin Patch ones and I hate them. They will not stay up at all. In fact once when I was walking up the stairs carrying DS they fell down competely, gave the neighbours a fright!
I'll be sewing some elastic in them shortly.
