So I have a bit of an issue, every time Milla poops it leaks, but not out the side up the top...maybe its just the way she poos..(?)
I used cloth with my boy and never had this problem, but every style nappy I have it happens, and i have quite a few,
 so my question is,
Is this just the way girls poo, and I can't really do much about it, or can anyone reccomend a nappy where poo wont explode upwards...
kinda getting sick of having to change all her clothes 4-5 times a day,
(she is fully BF so they are pretty runny)

It will get better soon! (and no its not a girl thing) I used prefolds and covers and found they contained the poo well, or else when I knew she was pooing or going to poo I would take her nappy off and hold her over a potty. Good luck

Will get better indeed! Have you tried the 'liquid poo fold' in a prefold nappy? Go to the REAL nappies website, How to videos and it's explained there.
 Or follow this link: http://www.realnappies.co.nz/how-to-videos

The video recommend using the fold together with a snappy so if you would do that I would think that the cover should fit as usual.
I don't think I've had poo coming out at the front of my wee boy's nappy but it's been a while since he was newborn (he's 2 now). No 2's due in October though so who knows.
If you're going to try the prefold, will you let me know how it goes? Here's hoping that it works! |

My boy did an explosion today in a Grovia and it was completely contained!! (exclusively BF here too) Usually his goes out the top front too. But at least he only goes every 4-5 days. That would suck having to change your bub so often every day |

I had a few front explosions but in sposies. I enjoy the grovias for containment as well, would love to pimp my ittis but have had a few up the back numbers in those too. Actually, i have two nudey-rudey nappies and i swear those things will contain anything, they're a bit uggo but work really well.
