Man, I'm such a clingy Mum!
My big girl has just left with my parents for her first weekend away from us and I'm a mess!
She's spent the odd night with them here in town but never more than one and never out of the city. (They have a house up north)
She was so excited and happy about going and up until she left so was I! But now I miss her and I want to tell them to bring her back!
Thank God for cellphones, I know she and my parents will have a blast and I will too once I get over my sookiness! Is anyone else as bad as me?

Yep totally. I love the idea of them having a night/nights away but when it actually comes down to it I miss them like crazy. Its almost like a drug and I crave seeing them. So far Addison hasnt had a sleepover anywhere but i know i need to cut the apron strings and get her used to it. I dont want them turning out like I was, I wouldnt stay at anyones house till i was about 13 cos I missed my mum to much!

Yip totally understand the feeling. I was so bad the first night we put her in her own bed the other day. I literally couldnt fall asleep and her room is right next to ours. Next night was a bit better.
And I am horrible about saying I need a break and as soon as Grant takes her to the park the house sounds and seem so empty and I miss her immediatly. |

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I was the same when I went to Oz for a week, I was lucky to have Anastasia with me but missed Ashlyn like mad ..... was almost in tears everytime I spoke to her on the phone, esp since she sounded soooo much older on the phone. But she had a great time at home with her daddy for the week!!
