OMG I just saw this on the news. She had been kept for 24 years and used as a sex slave. Poor girl. |

Yeah gross, kind of reminds me of that similar situation that was in NZ...although no kids involved. I think they were Dutch or something?

Yeah where did she think the kids came from?! I heard that some of the captive ladys kids were living in the main house with the father and his wife.

3 kids were living with him and the wife ( im reading the herald now)
the wife says that after she went missing the father made her write a note to the mum telling her she was ok and living in sum cult style comune thing, and the mum believed it, and then a baby showed up with a note saying it was hers and she couldnt care for it. thats how the others showed up to, bet the dad was always the 1 who "found" the baby on the doorstep.
he had the door hidden behind a false wall with a code lock thing.

 poor girl
 thats soooooo disgustingly sick.

and to think what she must have gone thru giving birth without medical anything at all!!!! horific

On the news this morning they were saying the cellar was so deep you wouldnt have been able to hear anything. And apparently the kids are being seen by a psychologist or something. Poor kids, I hope they get their names changed or something so nobody knows its them.

im not ignortant or naive in anyway, i know mothers can do just as horrible things to their children as fathers can, but in this case, yes, I can believe she was ignorant of it all, or perhaps she too ,feared him too much to question how the children got there ,or look for her daughter herself.
The psychologists who have seen her are all in agreement that she had no idea, and im pretty sure they would know what they were talking about.

On another forum i saw about it, someone had the nerve to ask why the daughter didnt fight him off-um hello? you try being locked underground with out sunlight for 24 years and see how much energy you have, geez some people!

Its disgusting, and if he is sentenced to jail he could get 15 years ,oooooh!at the LEAST it should be 24 years , but i say just lock him up for good

   Yuk!!
My DH said, how can any one do that to their daughter is beyond me. He was absolutely .
I felt ike going over there and hitting his head with some thing really heavy and strong.
This is the second case of this nature in that country!
What is the world coming to? how can any human being do that to any one, let alone to your own child??
Oh GOD...It is sooo just thinking about it!

and it will have such deep repercussions, eg ,possible resentment of the 3 locked up children to the ones raised outside, the mother has 24 years of change in the outside world to deal with not to mention fears of him getting her again etc.
Apparently she pleaded with him to let them go after seeing the doctors appealing for the eldest daughters parents to come forward, sounds very basic , but man i bet even that he tormented them with ,changing his mind etc ,they would have been living on egg shells til he finally let them out .
