Today i got annoyed at Kylahs dummy, so i cut the tip off and gave it to her!

She put it in her mouth and spat it out then cried and cried for like 10 mins saying its broken.

Then she went to bed and went to sleep, not one tear, didnt even ask for it.

This is her 2nd night in a bed bed without any issues too..

Is it meant to be this easy or is this the calm before the storm?

Aww what a good lil' girl!!  Did she sleep through last night?  Does she realise she can climb out of the bed by herself?

Jett's still in a cot, and I'm not even contemplating putting in a bed for a long time!  There is still plenty of room in the cot for him, and he sleeps so well in it.  I'll think about a bed for him nearer the end of the year, when he'll need to evacuate his room and move to another, so I can set up the room for the baby.

She slept through last night, and then this arvo when i put her down for her nap she got in it and went to sleep like normal!

Shes back in her safety sleep so she doesnt fall out, but im in shock about the dummy. She normally yells out 'NUMMY' if i forget to give it to her, but i think because she knows its broken she hasnt bothered.

Thats what I did, cut the ends off and Char said "its broken" so we threw it out the window. No tears, no asking, nothing! Sounds like you have done it right on time. Yay for both of you!

Yay! So awesome about the dummy!

Go the safety sleep too, we've had no issues since using it for Jack in his big bed. I thought it would be hell too but yay kind of easy!
