   Ok so im not very computer savy so in easy speak please.  I want to upload some photos onto my facebook page to share with people but it says they are too big.
how do i resize them? and what size do i make them? thanks

   FB should actually tell you what to do. I can't remember what you ned to to do sorry. But maybe upload one and then see if they give you some instructions. |

   I use a program I downloaded years ago, it's super easy. It's called Irfanview and I downloaded it free at www.irfanview.com

   The easiest way for me to resize photos is to open them up in Microsoft Paint, which is on 99% of all computers.  Along the top where the menus are, go to image, then stretch/skew.  It's the second option down.
 Where the options are for horizontal and vertical, change them from 100% to 50%, which halves the file size.  If you go smaller, say 25%, it would make it a quarter of the size.
 
 It's instant and means you don't have to upload them somewhere first like photobucket, which takes ages, and then resize them from there.
 
 Just save afterwards and you're done!
 
 Big ups to irfanview as well.  That program is awesome.

Right click, go to open in, then choose paint then do the rest as described above!
