Does anyone have one of these and what do your bubbas think of him?  Was thinking of getting him for xmas for Leo (18 months), I like that he lights up and plays music at night as well as numbers etc.  Everywhere I looked though he was $60 There were other similar toys for cheaper, so is Baby Tad worth the money?/  Thanks!! |

Well I can tell you that Maddie has loved her one from when was about 6 months old! We actually used the "night night" musical function before then....it's great!
$60 is still a pretty good price too i think, they were more when we got the orginal one.

We got Jake one for his 1st birthday and he didn't really play with it till about 18 months but, man, he just LOVES it, well worth it, I think, even just for the night time lullabys etc. We got ours on sale and paid about $49 or $59? Ezibuy are selling them this year as well.

we have one of the original ones that does the 6 minutes till night night function - that alone is worth it, seriously we got it for Ayja's 1st birthday and have used it every night since and it's wonderful. I have looked a thte new ones though and their 6 minutes till night night funtion is now something like 8 minutes or 10 i can't remember but most of the songs in it have words to it and aren't classical music anymore.
If i were you try and find someone selling off the last of the old style ones and grab one of those, or look on trademe. but otherwise - definately worth it for the night time thing - just don't stick it in the cot otherwise the bright lights keep baby awake.

If you have a look a wee way back in the product reviews section I actually did a post on the baby tads and heaps of people replied, good luck

   This is a baby tad.
the green thing - not the red one lol that's mine.
they have songs for during the day, teach colours and shapes (the old ones do anyway) and have a 6 mins till night night function that plays 6 minutes of classical music non stop - great for bed time.
seriously though - i had another look at that new one today and it's sucky. get an old one while you still can!
