I'm really feeling like I'm falling apart...I've got shockingly dry skin and rashes coming up on fingers and legs, a pregnancy tumour on my gums, yuk hair, a waddle going on and I could fall asleep right now (what’s it like to have 4 hours sleep in a row again?).
Oh and my SIL’s wedding on Saturday and will no doubt have to face family photos feeling like a dugong. (weird looking sea animal for those not in the know)

Time to pull out the pampering gear I think!

 Ok whinge over!

aahhhh Paws I so know how you feel!! I feel just the same, like a big blubbery zit ridden stringy dry hair monster - most unsexy!
All I can say is you are not alone!
And it is my birthday on friday and hubby has insisted we go out to dinner with some family and I REALLY dont want to go cos I just cant face tryign to find anything to wear or even tryign to make myself look decent - I sympathise! |

I say go out and treat yourself with the works. New clothes and a trip to the spa.

I third that about going out and treating yourself - a bit of retail therapy always helps plus some pampering at a day spa - must go and do that myself soon I am thinking a nice massage......

he he - my credit card is hurting too - something about pregant hormones when I go shopping that renders me incapable of saying no to voerpriced stuff I dont need - and where are all the essentials I was supposed to have bought by now? No-where in sight LOL!

Paws, sounds like you're in the need of a bit of pampering, maybe a massage, to get your spirits back up. Hope the wedding went ok and that you felt up to the family photos.

Imo, its just not fair to make pregnant women go to formal events. We had to go to one on Saturday night and I wound up in tears trying to find something suitable to wear that I didn't feel like a heifer in.
I hope you're feeling better now Paws, and found a suitable way to spoil yourself!

Yeah the wedding went really well - though it was REALLY frustrating seeing all the loverly seafood buffet and nibbles that were off limits to me *sigh* - stocked up really well on desserts though!! I felt pretty good on the day, had my hair down by the hairdresser and decided to just believe everyone who told me that I look really good! In the end the good thing is that everyone was looking at the gorgeous bride (of course!)
