   Hey ladies,
Since my M/C I have been doing lots of reading (google can be your best friend and worst enemy!!) it appears that one of the side effects of PCOS which I suffer from is low Progesterone levels, which in turn can cause M/C.

SO....have been looking at the creams that are out there, is this something that you can buy over the counter or do I have to get it from a doctor/specialist?

And if you can buy over the counter are there any recommended brands?

Hey Monkeys, they are generally used in the form of pessaries in NZ and can only be prescribed by a specialist. There was another thread on here about this recently, I'll see if I can find it...........

Monkeys...   if you do get natural prog cream or prog  pessaries make sure that you only use them after ovulation.... it can work as a contraceptive before ovulation and prevent ovulation. |
