How long after your HCG returns to 0 should your symptoms fade?????
While less intense and not everyday, I am still suffering from heartburn, sore nipples and achey boobs and grumbles in my lower abdomen (which were my main symptoms)

Surely by now 8 weeks after my D&C, 51/2 weeks after my HCG went to 0 and 21/2 weeks into my next cycle, you would think I would be pg symptom free. Its doing my head in.

 grumble, grumble, grumble... stupid body

I don't have an answer for you. But for me, its been 4 weeks today, that I had my d&c. I only got my levels checked once after the d&c. I was sick and tired of having them done while pregnant.....every 2 days for 4 weeks! So 2 weeks after, my levels were down to 5. Any preg symptoms I had went away very quickly....like within a week.
Is there a chance you could be pregnant again?

Definately not pg! I have made DH take my HPT's away as I was becoming obsessed with every little symptom.

I think it's probably pretty normal to have ongoing (imaginary) symptoms as part of the grieving process.
Hope they go away for ya soon!!

Or alternatively it may be that they're normal symptoms of your cycle - it's funny what you don't notice pre-TTC, and then when TTC - Eek!! I had so many more pregnancy symptoms when TTC than I've had pregnant - I used to always get reeeeally sore boobs, and I haven't had a sore boob at all in this whole pg! |

Melnel- I *still* get PSN and my pg looking sore boobs from around ov right through to AF EVERY MONTH...and my m/c was in March!! They are so conivncing too and every month I swear I am *not* gonna take any notice of them as a potential pg sign! But it's so hard not to! This month is slightly better as we've only BD once (heehee poor DP) and my bbs are still looking pg...so I *know* it's just hormonal as no chance we're pg this month. Hope the feelings go away or lesson for you as it's definately a physical reminder of your grief that you probably don't need... ((hugs)) |

Yeah, i have thought of that... I never had the sore nipples before I got pg though that is for sure!!!!!! Only time my boobs every ached before was a couple of days after a big boozy night (i dont know why, but would love to.... )
The grumbles in my lower abdomen could be cycle related, I dont remember it but am probably more aware now. Never would have thought to take notice of heartburn and relating it to my cycle before either.
I just want my boobs back really.
Thanks everyone, its probably psychosamatic and a part of my grief.

OMG I have had that exact problem! Every month since the first miscarriage I have major PSN after Ov it's real weird and never happened before.
Maybe u should do 1 HPT just to check but im pretty sure HCGs will be back to 0 after 8 weeks :) Good luck chick I know how frustrating it is!!!!!!!!

Jess, I have done many! DH has banned them from the house cos I was going nutso! How are things by the way, have not seen you around for a while.
Positive OPK tonight though (thank goodness they have not been taken away from me) so I will have something to keep my mind off it all over the next few days I think I may have to come to terms with the fact that I may just have those darn PSN for evermore... maybe it will be better in summer when its warmer???
