I agree with Steph and Kellz, think before you speak!! If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say it at all

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you all. All children are beautiful & Greer's little girls are very sweet.

Just think how hurt she would be if she came across these messages - I'm sure you wouldn't like people publicly criticizing your children no matter what they look like.

I fully agree, theres no way i would like to read that about my kids.

Yeah, you are right Steph and every mother see's their own child as beautiful. My DH thinks every other Bubba isn't as pretty as ours but I now look back on my older kids baby photo's and think OMG aren't they funny looking.....and at the time I thought they were perfect. Now of cause they are perfect PS I was the fat kid at school so can relate to the teasing and lasting effects of negative comments.
I hate getting involved in any of the controversial topics on here, but this one is too close to home to ignore.

I apologise too....I should have thought before typing. It wasnt a nice thing to say and I should keep my opinions to myself. However - I have to say that if you are a celeb and you CHOOSE to put your children / family in the public eye (I am not talking about paparazzi photos) then you open yourself up to critics. I am not saying that it is right, but it is a fact of life.  I always get peeved when people (ie celebs) whinge about the attention - one would suggest choosing an alternate career maybe?!?     |

i never heard her whinge about the attention...and this is simply a case of someone being a bit judgmental about how some one elses kids look.
i wonder how would any of us feel if someone saw a pic of us and our kids - say perhaps in an article in the new ohbaby mag - and said on here 'oooh wasnt that one funny looking kid, wonder whats wrong with it!?"

I wasnt necesarily saying the this particular celeb was whinging, it was just an observation.
ETA: have removed comments and response as realised would just make it worse

Unfortunitely we are judgemental we are afterall human. Of course we think our own children are perfect just like people come up to your baby and say "oooh arent you cute" Ive said back a few times well of course your going to say that you wouldnt dare say that hes ugly now would you? Anyways its not looks its the personality that counts and people change their looks over the years (thank goodness cause if DH hadnt got rid of the mullet by the time he met me he would of been relying on his charm ) Have a good holiday BS and bring us back a souviener!!! then you have to come visit me LOL |

At the end of the day, we ALL think our own children are the cutest kids in tthe world ever, and some others not so much, and I'm sure there are some on here who think mine or others kids arent that cute and look a bit funny or whatever, but we would never say it, though, would we...
I think her kids are cute, they look like lil munchkins, and vry like her. She has a very heartshaped facem which they hae inherited, and they wil probably grow into it.

Every one is entitled to their opinions, though, you you shouldn't have to edit...

Sorry to bump this thread again but I just got a whole heap of posters featuring Greer Robson and her two girls, she is the ambassador for something my company is running which I can tell you more about once it's launched, anyway I think her girls are cute. They have adorable smiles and that gorgeous round face like Greer.
I don't read womans day so haven't seen the photos that others are referring to but I can say that I often look awful in photos but I'm actually a nice looking person (there goes my modesty again )
