   Hey Ladies,
 Not prego yet or ttc but am now just going with the flow if ya know what i mean I started Vitex about 3 weeks ago and just wanted to know when you do get a BFP do you stop right away or wean yourself off it?
 I read on the internet (dont you hate that damn thing, making me worry!) that you have to wean yourself off otherwise it can cause M/C but i am sure some of the girls on here have just stopped as soon as they got BFP and have kept their bubbies!
 Do you take the whole way through your cycle or stop after ovulation (which i have no idea when that is!)
 Just want to be prepared!

   Hi Hannahbil! I took my last vitex tablet the day I got my BFP (10dpo). Hadn't heard about weaning off it, don't know what I would have done if I had heard that!
 Good luck with getting back to TTC |

   Vitex is a herbal supplement made out of Chaseberry. it helps regulate your cycle and supports your hormones back to normal levels etc.
 Im taking it cos after the depo injection and then after a m/c i kept mid cycle bleeding. Just trying to sort myself out really haha!

   DPO = Days past ovulation
BD = Baby dance
 BFP = Big Fat Positive (preggy test)
 Clomid = Some sort of medication that fertility specialists (?) prescribe to help people who don't ovulate to ovulate (I think?)

   Hi - I wondered myself too as Im was on it. baby4you says you should stop taking it when you get BFP. I wish I'd have known as I stopped around OV time this cycle. If no luck this month, Then I will go back on it and stay on it til BFP! PS my last BFP for my son happened after 1 cycle with vitex... |
