Lol, it's not easy here either! I usually unclip one side of the bar thing and lie the "harness" (not sure what else to call it) on the floor, put Chloe on it, and do it up around her. Then I clip the bar thing back on, and carry her over to the rest of the jolly jumper by the bar... then attach that bit to the rest. And off you go...
Hope you managed to understand that, I'm not really sure what the names for all the pieces are!

I put the harness on my knee (I kneel under the frame) ... then sit Issy into it (so she straddles my leg), clip it up and put her on the floor.

   Thanks and Thanks hehe
I needed something to keep me on track Oh and I have to give DH the credit for the Jolly Jumper kneeling trick (if you mean that is the good idea not that the ticker is a good idea) ... as I saw him do it.

   hi
Yes very tricky with little wriggly babes.
Unclip harness - lay it on floor - put baby into it as if putting trousers on - secure fastenings - carry harness and baby to spring bit which should already be hanging from door frame. Hook all together.
Repeat process in reverse when baby has had enough bouncing time
 Good luck |

I do it the same way at lilfatty
Taking her out the same way, only in reverse.
I never even thought to unclip it from the spring |
