I am pregnant 3rd time round and once again I have an Anterior Placenta .
With DS I felt movement/flutters around 16/17 weeks, with DD I felt movement/flutters around 18/20 weeks.
I thought that being my 3rd pregnancy I would feel it earlier as I have had Anterior placentas with all my pregnancy's and would not think this one would differ much IYKWIM!
I don't feel very pregnant at the moment, have lost weight, not gained which I thought was strange however I am a little over weight and still carrying alot of my post baby fat from my earlier pregnancy's.
I think I am just being impatient, I thought I had felt flutters over the last couple of weeks but then I could go two days with out feeling anything and start to wonder if I am overanaylising any little rumble that goes on down there What are your experiences with Anterior placenta's?
 Sorry for the long rant

I'm at the same stage as you and its my 3rd and I don't feel much at all. I haven't actually checked where my placenta is. I felt some movements last night that were the biggest I've felt so far the rest honestly probably could have been gas for all I know lol

I'm not sure where my placenta is either but I haven't felt this bub anywhere near as much as I remember feeling Callum around this point in my pregnancy. I was all excited about feeling this one earlier too, but so far not much going on at all! I'm starting to show a bit and can feel the odd flutter, but like Stacey, I'm not sure whether it's just gas or wishful thinking!

I had a anterior placenta with #2 and only started feeling movements around 22 weeks (posterior with #1 and felt from 18 weeks). I asked my MW about it and she also said that often your uterus is now "untoned" so that can make movements harder to feel with subsequent pregnancies even though you actually know what they feel like this time.

mines anterior and got my first flutters at 16 weeks and kicks and jabs since 18weeks...however they elaborated on anterior and told me it was right up the top (aka as far from your cervix as possible) so it think she just maneuverer's around mine nearer the bottom...

My placenta is anterior - was low, but moved up by 32 weeks. I felt the first flutters around 17 weeks - but it was 22 weeks before I was getting anything regularly.

Anterior placentas with both my previous pregnancy and this one. With JJ it was low which is probably why I felt him move before this one... so you're definitely not the only one to feel it later in a subsequent pregnancy |

Oh well sounds like I need to put my patient underwear on and wait for the day this baby starts booting me. It may not be far away.
