   Beef and Bacon Loaf   1kg minced beef 3 rashes bacon 1 egg ½ t dried basil ¼ t pepper 1 small onion  3 tb dry breadcrumbs 2 tb tomato sauce ½ t salt 1 tb horseradish relish (Not necessary)   Combined al ingredients except glaze.  Pack into greased loaf dish.   Cover with paper towelling – microwave on high for 14 minutes.   Allow to stand for 5 minutes – covered.   Pour off any fat and juices – unmould onto serving dish.   Combined glaze sauce, spread over loaf and microwave for 2 ½ minutes on high.   GLAZE  2 tb Tomato Sauce 2 t Worcester Sauce   |

   That sounds yuuuum Lissy.  Just out of curiosity (I'm a crap cook, so have no idea how to find this out for myself!    ) ...how long does it take in the oven instead of the microwave?

   Sorry I have no idea as I have never made it in the oven!!!  I would say about 30 - 45 minutes.

   Mine is a 1000W.  It is yum and you have most of it in the pantry, and mince is cheap!  Let me know when you make it and what you think.
