Hello ladies I had a miscarriage in February. I tried to have kids for 2.5 years also tried clomid. Then feel pregnant naturally. I lost the pregnancy 11 weeks. 3 weeks later I had a couple spots of blood 2 days after sex. From the day I had that couple of spots my temperature went up. and remained up until I had a heavy period with a couple of blood clots 1.5 weeks later my temperature dropped again. it was five weeks exactly between my miscarriage and the full period.
My first miscarriage they discovered the heart stopped beating at 7 weeks. I passed the pregnancy at 11 naturally. I had unusal excessive bleeding but passed everything.

Is this experience normal has anybody else experienced it? how long did it take to get your period?

Hi Feenz, that sounds pretty normal to me. I had a really wacky cycle after my MC where I was spotting pretty much daily for 34 days until I got my period back. My MC cycle was in January on my chart here .
You won't ovulate if you still have hcg hanging around. Have you had blood tests to confirm that it has dropped back down to normal?
(PS. Sorry I just realised I didn't PM you back but things were pretty crazy for me around that time with the earthquake xx)

   Sorry for your loss.
To answer your question, I have only just got my period back after my miscarriage, it was a week longer than usual cycle so I am guessing it took a week or two for my hcg levels to drop enough to ovulate.

I also had random spotting after certain activities, not bd coz we haven't done that yet but after exercise or if I was pushing myself too hard so that might be the same for you re the spotting.

Hi Feenz, your temps dip down low at ovulation and then trend back up again and stay high if you are pregnant or dip back down if you get your period.

Feenz - so sorry for your loss.
My first AF after miscarriage was awful - cramps, clots the works. For someone that normally doesn't have any cramping and about 4 days of light bleeding, I was also sure I must have had another miscarriage. I figure it is your bodies way of giving your uterus a really good spring clean It gradually became more of a 'normal' cycle over the next 4-5 AF's.
I have just had my second MC and have this to look forward to again, hopefully in about 30 days Best of luck with TTC again!

My AF was a normal one, in fact if anything it was lighter than it normally is but once I had my D&C 2 days after miscarrying naturally (freaking painful) I basically had no bleeding at all so I am assuming they gave me a really good clean out.
