On Oprah. Are they really that smart, or are their parents just exploiting them?

The little girl with the map was very clever.
But the kid who could play the piano made me cringe.
"But we have to stay humble".
What 6 year old knows what that even means?
Totally the parents putting words into their mouths.

I thought the same about the accordion kid when it said he plays nation wide - he was only about 7, shouldn't he be at school?

i didn't see it but i believe kids should be left to be kids. A childhood is such a short and precious thing mind you i'm still a kid at heart.

Oh I so saw this, did you see the 6 month old baby in a highchair with a giant adult drumset in front of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What crazy person wants a baby to make more noise.
Playing the drums that well at 3 - its nuts.

I didn't mind the drummer, the singer was a bit much for my liking and the piano player was also a bit ott.

The map girl was cute, I guess she can just remember things well, I loved that she was more impressed that if she clapped everyone clapped.

I didn't see this but Jake could pick out a tune on the guitar at 3 months and by 6 months could play the drums along to anything on the radio - in tune. I certainly wouldn't be letting him go public though!! He may be talented but he needs as long as possible to be a kid with no pressures or responsibilities!!

   Yeah I saw this too.
Sometimes I wished my mum had pushed me at dancing more than she did, as I really wish I could dance better than I can.

I was watching it from my hospital bed and was like OMG, I had a friend over at the time watching it too. That little girl with the map was so cute. But that girl singing she was good but sounded too much like Whitney Houston. |

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
