That's weird about Lilliput - thought they'd be more on to it than that. The ladies at Juniuni are wonderful though - I did a visit there to check it out and it is absolutely fantastic inside!
In terms of areas to buy - depends - Maungatpau, Welcome Bay -some good areas for families. The Mount is quite expensive. Pyes Pa - some nice new subdivision houses... but a wee way from town... and the Avenues right in town are quite expensive.

   Hi TysMummy,
I live in Papamoa and absolutely love it. I rent a 2yr old lovely house that got a double internal garage, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely big fully fenced back yard... and I pay $340 a week.

I also do In-Home Childcare and love it. have you thought about putting your children into In-Home Care? Its really very good as we have regular outings and awesome resources that get alternated every month.

I live in Brookfield and my sister is studying teaching at uni - she's done a student teacher stint at otumoetai primary and says its a pretty good school. We are looking at sending DD there when she's old enough. I dont think Brookfield Primary is that great (so I've heard) but apparently Bellvue school (same area - near Otumoetai College and Intermediate) is pretty good too.
I love living in Brookfield. Its nice and close to town and we live near the shops where New World is which is really conveinent.

We live in Brookfield too and love it here I work at Tauranga Primary, although Brookfield is just out of our zone you could look at going into the ballot system?
Brookfield has a primary school but I'm not sure what it's like tho, sorry.
Good luck with your venture |
