Has anyone else that this tummy bug that is doing the rounds? If yes, when does it go away!
Day 1 (Monday) was vomitting, major headache and extreme fatigue and weakness (could barely lift Elle. Couldn't eat anything

Day 2 was nausea, inability to eat, very sore muscles and exhaustion. I managed to eat a piece of toast and an apple.

Day 3 - today I still can't really eat anything. I've forced down a piece of toast but can't face anything else.

I'm not sure how much of it is hunger and how much of it is the bug. I LOVE to eat and have been trying but it just makes me feel ill.

my daughter got it and it turned into strep throat so she went on antibiotics for 10 days (still on them) She was ill the saturday, sunday she just laze about couldn't be bothered to do anything, the next day (monday) she woke with a very sore throat and white dots all over it and red - off to the Dr's, she started to come right about 24 hours after taking antibiotics.
A friend had it and it took at least a week before she felt 90%. I have a sore throat now and bit of a headache and sore ears - lets hope I am not going to come down with it..

BTW - my friend also said she couldn't eat and lost 1 1/2 kgs.

Both my kids have had it. Ella had about a weeks worth. Vomiting for 4 days and then feeling yuck and miserable for another couple after that. Benjy got it a week later and puked for 2 days had really high fevers for 3 days and took another couple of days to come completely right.
Hope you're feeling better soon Fiona! |

I had it a few months ago, Sienna got it first, then me, then Mercedes, then Maya, it was spew city here for about 2 weeks. I vomited non stop for 24 hours then it stopped but I probably didn't feel 100% again for a good week and a bit, and the gremlins were still having icky nappies for about 10 days.
Big hugs, and hope you are feeling better for the Style Night tomorrow night!

Actually am feeling ok now but not really into eating. Will just nibble away until I am back to normal. Starting to feel hungry which is a good sign I think!
