I have had over the past few days this clear stuff coming from my nipples.
is this colostrum or something else?

I've asked about this and apparently it is colostrum.. I've had it for 2 weeks already!

Yeah I had this as well, I found towards the end of pregnancy it was so bad I had to wear nipple pads. Still had plenty to feed bub when he arrived so is good in the long run.

No, don't be worried SimSam. Some get it, some don't... some vary!
I had it with Kiya from about 30 weeks, but didn't get it at all during either of my pregnancies with the boys.

I don't know but I wouldn't have though it was anything to worry about, just ask you LMC next time you see her to make sure.

It's just colostrum, I've had it for a while now and the m/w said it's a sign that you'll have a good milk supply the earlier you start leaking (although it's a pain!)

Yeah I joined this club on Sat too- glad to hear it means I'll have a good milk supply 'cause safe to say I was less than stoked to get it so early.

Mine started at about 30 weeks really bad, but has now eased off thankfully! It can come back in about 5 weeks or so and I will be happy!

so while we're on the subject - I've only had one *ahem* performance where I've full on leaked and since then there's just been some residue on the nipples. In your experiences will this increase to proper leakage or did you find that it just came and went randomly?

Mine comes at certain times during the day/night, firstly it was just random and only happened every few days, now it's daily. I'm not sure what happens later on though. I love it - a performance! My m/w told me just to make sure that you clean the nipples well too so nothing gets blocked up. I can't believe there's so much gross and annoying preggy stuff out there!
