So today is the 6th of August and is my angel babies due date... I'm feeling quite down today and don't know whether this is normal, obviously I am pregnant again and am thrilled at that but it still doesn't seem to make this day easier... am I a bad person for thinking how much easier it would be if I just hadn't lost my first baby? This pregnancy has been pretty rough on me, I've been quite emotional, and am still getting fairly bad MS, and all I can think of is if I hadn't of lost my first baby it would almost be over and I would be holding my baby very soon. It felt like my heart broke when I miscarried and have felt like a little bit of me disappeared that day. Sorry for the big post just needed to get it out, luckily I do have a very supportive partner who understands how hard today is for me but still needed to vent.
 Thanks for listening

   As I sit and remember
When you were still a part of me
 I try to forget...
Your life was never meant to be.
You were given a life, a soul, a name
But now things will never be the same.
You were mine to give life to
 Though only for a while
 Things had changed...
I will never see your smile.
 Yet my love for you
 Will never disappear
 Though your voice, your laugh,
I will never get to hear.
You will always be my baby
Though I've never seen your face.
Not a thing in this world
 Can ever take your place.

Have just found this poem and thought it was very appropriate to how I am feeling.

All your feelings are completely normal I often think about the babies I lost.
But then I look at Hannah and realise that I wouldn't have her if I didn't lost the first two, and that thought breaks my heart.
It won't be too much longer and you'll feel the same.
The sadness of losing a baby won't leave you, but it will become a lot easier to deal with as time goes on *edited for spelling.

Hugs Bex - went through this on the weekend when my due date came round. Its a weird kind of day - being pregnant again but still wondering what if. I think the poem is beautiful and perfect.

Thanks Girls really appreciate your support and I'm sure you guys are right and once this bub is here it'll get a bit easier... If only there was a way to fast forward time! Have had a bit of a cry after not managing to keep my breakfast or lunch down today... (ok a big cry not a bit of a cry) and I think that helped a little bit!!

Bex, hon, I have no advice for you, but I wanted to send you some hugs cos I know how hard this pregnancy has been on you. I'm glad to hear your DP is being so good to you. Take it easy today, ok? |

No advice either. Have you done anything to mark the anniversary/ remembrance of your Angel Baby?
Glad to hear your DP is being supportive and sorry you've had such a bad day with MS on top of everything.
