I stopped leaking after a few weeks, so a few weeks ago. I still get really itchy nipples tho.

I heard you can take medication to dry yourself up. Did anyone get prescribed this?

I stopped feeding at 4 weeks, for vaious reasons.
I was given medication to stop the milk production. I am not sure what it is called but I am sure I can place a call to my GP if you need?

My MW told me about the medication as I have made the decision to formula feed. So guess its up to the MW and GP but they can't really refuse you unless you have conditions that prevent you taking it.

Cabbage leaves also can stop milk supply when used for prolonged periods of time.

I never breastfed but did express a couple of times for both kids. With the second one, the leaking did last longer but it stopped when I went back on the pill

I'ver heard that cabbage leaves are great for stopping the milk if you wear them in your bra overnight. I used them once to help with engorgement after my milk came in, I was in so much pain!

Yup, cabbage leaves are great for sore boobies and for drying up milk. I wore breast pads for about 6 weeks after stopping feeding the gremlins but I stopped cold turkey as in went from expressing 2 litres a day to only expressing enough to relieve the engorgement, and so there was a lot to dry up. I still leak occasionally, but have had that since stopping feeding Maya I never really dried up completely.
