We went for our scan - and had a "Toni moment", the CORD WAS IN THE WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Everything else is fine, and yes, there's only one in there... but ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!  I am one of *the* most impatient people in the world !! So, with that in mind, I asked at what point in time it might be easier to tell, and the sonographer said around 26 weeks. Referral or no, I'm booking in another scan 
I need a nap, was on tenterhooks all day for this !

oh no, Im going for my scan on Friday and am hopng this doesnt happen to me because I am dying to find out what baby is. We will have a scan a bit later anyway but otherwise like you I would definatley book another scan. How frustrating for you though

Thanks ladies. I can't believe how down I am feeling about this. I know we are not fussed either way, but I still *really* wanted to know (as I'm sure many other mummies to be do as well). I am now questioning whether or not it will be difficult to get the clinic, any clinic (not necessarily the same one either), to agree to an "extra" scan even if I want it really badly and am prepared to pay in full for it.
Early bedtime tonight I think, tomorrow is going to be a drag, and I have to work all the way through until Saturday.

The radiographer I had was really good and shook my belly! You can see the screen shaking like crazy then bub do a whole flip over in the video and reveal all!! It looks sooo funny.

Yeh seems to be a lot of women having the same problem i know that our one was modest right until the end when she moved and showed us the money shot lol
Im sorry to hear your really down about it Jax, i dont know what they are like with extra scans but i hope you can have one

there are some shy babies atm!! "we" (by we, i mean lewis got me drunk and made me agree) decided not to find out the sex and it drove me crazy....so i just alternated between saying he and she cause saying it is kinda icky. dad was convinced i knew the sex and was keeping it a secret. i'd say "he" and dad would look at me knowingly and wink.

maybe u could try a walk before u hae scan that might move the bubs or try liying on yourside hope it helps

Kobe was letting it all hang out so it was really obvious but already the first scan we had this time round baby had its legs crossed, I just hope it plays the game tomorrow.
