good luck for today, hope you get some answers. Do they send you through specialist care after you have had so many m/c's? I know my sister was referred and the day of her appt she found out she was pregnant again so couldnt do all the test etc... and went on the carry that baby till 28weeks, this was after about 4 m/c in a row

i got to see the specialist at the hospital mainly due to the fact taht when i had the dnc done it was my 3rd miscarriage then in 4 years, so when i had my 6wk checkup they decided to do all the tests to see why, and of course unfortunatley since then ive had another miscarriage which i will tell them about today...if they cant give me any answers i will look at going to a fertility specialist

okay so i got my results back and everything came back perfect except my something antibodies, (which has to do with blood clotting factor) so i have to take aspirin as soon as i know im pregnant, but if the aspirin doesnt work then i have to have heparin injections....dont see the hospital again until im pregnant, and was told that they will do loads of bloods and 2-3 scans before the 12wks just to make sure all is okay.

So now to just get pregnant...lol

Why don't you start taking half an asprin just as a precaution Kazzle, and then start taking the full dose once you have your BFP.

It sounds as if you have the same thing Courtney Cox has. Great that you now have the answer and fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy.

When I get pregnant next year hopefully, I'll be on Clexane injections for the duration of my pregnancy, which is similar to Heparin, and then warfarin after the birth due to clotting history.   There's also some complicating factors around the birth process, but I'm sure you'll be given all the information you need. PM me if you have any questions as I have a great haematologist who is great at providing information for stuff like this.
