I swear that in the last week Alex has just gone 'snap' and is into everything! When did you mischievous boy turn from a sweet angel to Mr Destruction?

Its not quite a button, but more a set of gears. He engaged first gear at his first birthday and we are currently cranking up through the gears!!

Yep, I am pretty sure Spencer wakes up and thinks "what can I destroy, wack, throw and/or climb today?"
Around 11 months the tantrums started so I guess about then, then a few weeks before his second birthday it ramped up a huge notch. (or at least a couple of gears)

Snap with my DS2 he's 3 at the end of the month and he's still moving up gears  DS1 who'll be 6 soon is just settling down a bit now. My DD1 was never like my boys are, hopefully Tessa won't be either, does keep you on your toes tho.

Hmmm we seem to have hit a new gear of late with DH being home... argh!
They do say boys are more full-on in the first few years than girls (in general). Just programmed differently I guess.
They also say though that once you've hit those pre-teen years with girls you will think that young boys were easy - oh joy!

*sigh* Toddlers are tiring!!
Sam was born like this and every day he seems to step it up a notch. His latest phase is throwing things in the air as high as he can, toys, blocks, wipes, clothes.. anything he can get his hands on, up it goes!

Oh the things to look forward to!
Heather, Jackson's just gone crazy in the last few weeks as well. Into everything and trying to climb on top of anything he can. Never mind how stable it is, if it's big enough for a foot, he's on it. Had a few tumbles!

I love what you have all said, the things to look forward too.
Laurie Alex doesn't climb yet (he did the front door step yesterday so am guessing he will start more soon) but he is so fast at getting round the house and into all sorts
I have 4 brothers and they are still all trouble! One of them was so troublesome he got Mum's engagement ring and smashed the diamond out of it cos he wanted to see how it went together  She still has no idea where it is.

yes, Jimi (20 months) has been a real toddler too
We keep on telling him; you're not 2 yet....(hinting that he's not 'supposed' to be at that terrible two's stage yet...) but it doesn't help

LOL. we just found out #3 is another boy! I am exhausted just thinking about it! hahahaha.
DS1 is go go go from the second he wakes up, DS2 not so much, but he is much more of a daredevil!

wow Teresa go the boys! My cousin has 5 boys (including a set of twins) and man is she a wealth of knowledge My Mum had 4 girls before boys so she got pretty lucky cos she had us to teach them how to be lovely and girly  (not that it worked really although they most certainly are boys who love having a woman around)
