I have a nearly 1 year old and am starting to feel like I am ready for another baby.  Is it too soon?

That completely depends on you. i have no clhildren myself yet but i can say that my brother and i have 27months between us and mum has said that was a good lenght of time. A close friend of mine has 18months between her 2 and she has at times wished it was a little longer as she can now see the downfalls. Children are a bit more independant at 2years then at 1.5.

Mine are 22.5 months apart. At the moment its a bit hectic having a 2 yr old who is full on and a 12 week old, but I can imagine in a few months it will be a great gap.

We have a 21 month age gap between our two children. We are really pleased that we have this gap as hopefully our two boys will be great playmates. I got pregnant with no 2 when my first just turned 1.

Obviously its up to you. My sis and I have 2 years, that was fine. Other friends had a year and they loved it. We wanted 18 months for many reasons, including financial (get back to work quicker etc) but that hasn't worked out, so we may have about 2 years difference.

Hi, I have a 2 1/2 yr gap between my boys and that worked wellfor us. My BF has a 18 month gap between her ds and dd and loves it. She said it was hard the first 18 months, but they are really good mates. I guess its all up to your personal situation with $ , work etc...

Well I'm going for a 4 year age gap for #2. I think when kids are more independent it makes it easier, less burn out. Plus I get to focus a lot of time on Kahtrell and this phase of his life where they are constantly learning and coming up with amazing things...these first few years go by so quick!. But really is up to the individuals (mum n dad). My cousin has 5 children under the age of 6..including almost 2 yo twins, and and almost 1 year old, and I can tell that she is frazzled!!...........then again you wouldn't be contending with that much kids lol.

We're starting TTC shortly so if I get pregnant straight away there will be around an 18 month age gap between #1 & #2. I'm happy with anything from there onwards.

like others have said its different for everyone.

we are aiming for a 2 -3 year age gap....I am hoping to have our 2nd by the time I'm 35 (which gives us 2 years by the time we do start trying).

I am looking at having a 2.5 - 3 year age gap between children.   DS is nearly 18 months old so we are looking at TTC #2 anytime from now on. DP is out of the country for four weeks out of every five, so it could be tricky timing it right.

We have 19mths between #1 & #2 ant although hard work to start with it was a great time for my 19mth old to bond with her daddy as she had been more dependant on me but he had to step up more and help out when I was breast feeding etc and it has been great and the confidence that ashlyn had in her daddy has been passed on to anastasia as they can sense the comfort.  The girls now are the best of friends most days and of course fight likecat and dog lol but that is all part of growing up and you will get that at any age.  We will have a 3year 3mth gap between #2 & #3 and I think we will have two very eager helpers haha
Good luck with your decision
