Does look like a great deal... although I'd be a bit careful if you're paying money to some random person first and then expecting to get the carseat. It isn't necessarily, but it would be an excellent way to scam people out of a lot of cash. Also, where is she getting them from? No chance they're rejects for some reason from overseas somewhere, or rip-offs?
I'm just sceptical by nature

Too much money for me to part with & give to someone i dont know. Id rather pay a bit more and ensure i can actually get the carseat

She rang around some stockists to see if they could give her a good deal and Tweedle offered the best. You just order the seats and use the code. It's all safe.

Ok well this is from the woman that organised it.
"right, the supplier is cutting the deal this Friday, and now has limited stock, so I'm not going to add any more people to the group until I hear back from the other supplier who was willing to match the price, and see what she says :)"
