Just wondering if anyone had tried Tracey Hogg's 'wake-to-sleep' strategy from her book 'The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems'?
My 3 and a half month old routinely wakes at 3am for a feed, even though she cluster feeds in the early evening and has a dream feed at around 10pm, so I think she is waking more out of habit than hunger. Tracey Hogg recommends to wake your baby an hour before she is due to wake in order to break the habit of waking at a certain time.

I haven't tried any of that stuff but I would have thought that it was completely normal for a 3 and 1/2 month old to wake in the night for a feed. Not all bubbas can go through the middle of the night without a feed at that age. Mine certainly couldnt

Hmmm, not sure about waking them earlier, i tried that with his naps (never worked)

I read a book that said if they are waking at the same time, it is likely to be routine, so perhaps offer water first, even if it only delays it by 30 minutes, you might keep be able to extend it.

You may also find though cos she is so little she will change by herself in a couple of weeks.

Hayden woke twice a night until he was 4mths and once a night til he was about 6mths but at that stage I was okay with it as some babies need that extra feed in the night espec if breastfed. However he is now 10mths and wakes for the day at 5.30am and I might seriously consider the Wake to Sleep theory soon before I go mad!!!!!

Kaela is still waking once a night at 3mos, and it may even end up twice a night for a short time in the next couple of growth spurts before solids. I don't like to be hard on sleeping through until at least 6mos. Although she wakes usually at the same time, I think it is more hunger than habit - jusy like her daytime schedule.
