We went to spotlight. We were going to get them made there, but the lady was a cow to me, then we realised we could buy the exact same fabric pre-made so got them

We've been looking for curtains and they're incredibly expensive cheapest place we've found so far is Mitre 10 Mega and or the warehouse.
Spotlight was expensive and there's a 6 week back log on getting them made here atm.

We got all ours from the warehouse. It cost us around $1000 for the whole house. But that is still very cheap, considering what it would normally cost.

How many rooms are you looking at doing?

Ours are pretty good quality for what we paid. MIL got some from spotlight for 3 times the price and they are alot crappier than the ones we have.

There is also the curtain making shop in Upper Hutt. They sell ready made curtains

I dont know if you have Harveys down there but I just got some curtains for baby's room from there. They were more expensive than Spotlight and the Warehouse but they are just beautiful quality and exactly what I wanted so could be worth a look depending on budget. I can vouch for the quality.

thanks ladies, i had thought of some of the places but not all of them! i have had a quote for getting them custom made but i hope that they will be cheaper if we get ready made. most of the ready made ones i have seen are actually really nice

I have only have 4 windows that i want them for but problem is 2 of them are 3metres long!

Another suggestion is Lewis's (Wool building, Thorndon Quay, next to Vast). They have got a new range of ready mades - the best I have seen, and the larger size goes up to over 3m long.   They aren't thermal, but are quite thick. We got some for our bedroom and are liking them. Good luck - I've been hunting for ready mades all over Welly!

Bunnings, Warehouse, Mitre 10 Mega umm... Briscoes...

I have bought from Bunnings just last week and am very, VERY! happy with the quality. Also bought some from them about 5 years ago and am happy with them too still!

Don't think HN do them down here, but wonder if Smith City does??
