With my skinny & tall kid I've only been able buy from PP & TnT because PP has the adjustable waists & Tnt Clothing isn't as wide.
I always buy PP on special or off TM. Has good resell value as well cause the clothing lasts.
Plus Grandmas are brillant to go shopping with

I tend to stick with the brand names PP and JK although I got the odd thing from T&T as they had some cute pants and vests to match but I don't think they are going to fit come winter and tops you don't know what size to buy as they make them ultra small. I went in during the summer as there was nothing I like compare to other summers there have been some really cute outfits.
Right now I am getting whole heap of gymboree sent over from the states as I did a trade with someone over there.

Hi, Pumpkin Patch is a fav of ours (although pricey, they have good sales & the clothing doesn't really get the lint) & Farmers & Trade Me & sometimes Baby Factory. I find JK Kids sizing quite small and Baby City doesn't have much choice. Unfortunately Dunedin doesn't have TnT.

KMart and Target (in Oz) seem to dress my children.
I was lucky and given a heap of size 4,5 and 6 for my boys and they are all labels so haven't had to buy for them.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yeah with T & T I'd recommend having a good look at sizing, my boy is 23 months and wearing their size 4 tops easily (sometimes size 3). He's not what I'd call giant either, just a bit taller than most kiddies his age.

Definitely T & T, Baby Factory, and SOMETIMES Farmers here, i go nuts in Farmers 50% off kids clothing sales, pick up tops for $3-$8 per item, don't recommend anything there with domes though as they fall off after the first wash. Totally useless (so no stretch and grows, or onesies with domes). I've had many freak out moments when I've discovered a dome missing and worried my boy has swallowed it! Not safe IMO!
Ohh and Warehouse have good quality clothes, some of his size 1 1/2s from there he can still fit and the outfit/rompers are still going strong after 13 months of use and LOTS of washing & stains. Sizes vary depending where you shop

We buy mailnly at PP and OK with a little JK thrown in there...Like you we were given heaps and are just starting to buy now. Although i went through all of Lachlans old clothes (PP, JK and OK) so they are good for more children due to the quality...I have a little Blue baby at the mo though...lucky she suits it with her wee pink socks;o)
Oh we only shop at the pp outlets store though...will not pay full price now what with the recession and all ;o)

For my almost 4 year old boy, I shop mostly at Farmers/Kmart, and go to Pumpkin Patch for a few more 'dressy' items, like jeans and button up shirts. I get some of his kindy stuff at T&T, since it's cheap and I don't care if it gets covered in dirt/paint/whatever.
For my baby daughter I've mostly been shopping at Baby Factory. Don't like Farmers baby stuff.

I'm not a huge fan of PP, purely because the boys range is overly styled and way too matching for my liking. Having said that, I have got some great plain shorts and trousers from there that are still going strong after months of wear. Good quality.

I love the JK range, but do agree that the Everyday sizing is definitely on the small size.

I also buy a fair amount from the Baby Factory. I like the Tangerine label there.

I don't think I have ever bought anything from T&T so can't comment on that. The few things I have had from Cotton on Kids have stretched beyond use or started to come apart after just a single wash. Farmers quality and sizing is dubious. BabyCity/Postie Plus (same range) is not too bad.

Dressmart is my local so I tend to get most things at outlet prices.
