Hey all, I stole this out of the Foodtown Magazine Dec 07 issue, and it is yum!
I thought I'd share it, as it is great for us preggy ladies who can't drink the booze this Christmas.
Strawberry Fizz
- 1 punnet of strawberries, hulled and halved
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1-2 tablespoons caster sugar
- ice
- 4 schweppes classic soda water 330ml
- extra strawberries for garnish
Place the strawberries, lemon juice and caster sugar in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth.
Strain through a sieve into a jug and divide between 4 glasses.
Add a handful of ice to each glass and top up with schweppes classic dry soda water.
Garnish glass with strawberry halves.

oooh, and for those that can drink we can replace soda water with something else. actually since i know who is coming to xmas with me this year - pure vodka

Yes, well if Phoenix arrives early, then I am thinking maybe some Absolut Vodka, the berry ones are quite nice. You can also chuck the ice in the blender to crunch up as such, if some prefer.

Deffo. Bubbly in flavoured fruit drinks are awesome. I had a neat kiwifruit one once, very yum.
