Hi there, can anyone recommend a midwife in the South Auckland area? I reside in Manukau. WIth my 1st pregnancy I had a fab midwife but I was living in Royal Oak & she no longer practises anymore. Any suggestions, recommendations are much appreciated!

SAMCL is a group of midwives that are really lovely, they can take clietns through Middlemore, Botany and Papakura maternity units, they have their office in Manukau City Across the road from the new Westpac, Their office number is 09-263 4012. I had Caroline Tee who is very relaxed and not as bossy or clinical as some midiwves which I really liked about her.

SAMCL definatley!!! I had Anne Whyte and her back up Simon Bibby and they are really great. They are based in Manukau corner of Great South and Cavendish drives.

lol, Simon was my midwifes back-up too, met him once when in hosp for the 2 day old check... lovely guy.

Margie Ireland is good, I had her till i moved to central akl and had to change.
