Hello ladies, has anyone else been totally in the dark about their due date?  The doctor looked at me as if I was an idiot but I can't for the life of me remember when I had my last period.  It was definitely before Xmas, but it could've even been sometime in Nov.  I'm flat out with work and we weren't TTC, but I knew it had been a while since my last period.  I started feeling nauseous 2 or 3 weeks ago... how far a long do you start getting MS?  I can't remember!

I don't think it's weird at all that you can't remember, especially with a 1 y/o! (I knew my dates, but we were TTC, so I was paying close attention). The doctor should refer you for a dating scan, as these are pretty accurate when it's early days.

Nah I don't think it's unusual to not know your dates, particularly when not TTCing. Ask your GP or MW for a referral for a dating scan. Congrats!

I had no idea as we weren't TTC either. I had no morning sickness at all but had nearly every other 'sign' including sore boobs. My dr sent me for a dating scan within a week of my visit to him.

I agree, ask for the referral for the dating scan.

I think it's also hard to tell by judging one pregnancy against another. I had no idea I was pregnant this time, had no MS, but knew pretty early on the last three times. I also never had sore boobs this time.

AND! My periods have always been all over the place so I could never tell doctors when I last had one.

 Good luck!! :)

I couldn't tell when my LMC was either.  We took a break from TTC and I didn't really write down any dates.  Of course my body decided that was a good time to get pregnant that month.
My MS both times started around the six week mark, but this time is not near as bad.
Hopefully your doctor or MW will get you a referral for a dating scan.  You need a dating scan so that you can turn up at an accurate time for your 12 week scan.

Thanks for this, yeah, he didn't mention anything about a dating scan but I will ask my midwife once I get one.
