I think when defrosted the rule for storing it in the fridge is the same as when it is fresh. So I think 24 hours.

Fresh it can be stored for up to 3 days, so long as it was put straight in there and not mixed .. ie you can't epress at 7am, and then express at 3pm and add them, adding warm milk to cold is a no-no.

But, yes, anyway frozen needs to be used within 24 hours of coming out of the freezer.

Anything that has been defrosted by using warm/hot water needs to be biffed... once it's been warmed it shouldn't be used again.

 Hope that helps.

What Janine said. And yep, it's liquid gold alright, I cried my eyes out washing 6l of frozen milk down the sink when we realised it was making the gremlins refluxy

OMG! I cried when I had to tip about 500ml down the sink as Gina refused to drink defrosted frozen milk - I would have been devastated if I had 6L going down the drain!

I wouldn't worry about it, not much you can do about it now. I'm sure it lasts longer than the recommended time anyway, they normally build a buffer into best before recommendations and he only had 60mls.
