My mw called it the Guthrie test
(took 4 pricks to get enough blood - my baby is NOT a bleeder!)
Bilirubin is another name for jaundice, isn't it?

Bilirubin is the formal name for Jaundice, as its the amount of bilirubin in the body that makes you jaundice.

lol - why do you ask Becks?

(ETA: Bilirubin isn't the formal name for jaundice - it's the name of the substance that CAUSES jaundice if it's in too higher amounts in the blood, Jaundice is what happens when the amount gets too high for the liver to process quick enough)
