We have a prepaid vodafone that we have so my sister in England can get hold of someone without it costing the world. Last month we got a txt on it to say that we needed to top up the phone before the 17th of May. So last night I went down to the supermarket and got a recharge card. I rang vodafone and was told that the sim card had expried (thanks for telling me that now). I asked to speak with the mananger to get it sorted and was told the manager was busy and would call me back in 2 hours (this was 6pm last night). 8pm came and went and no call. So this morning I went down to the local voadfone store to see if they could help and no they couldn't, I got call the call centre and ask to speak with a manager. So I rang back and asked to speak with the manager and was told again the mananger is busy but will call you back in half an hour. What is up with them not speaking with their customers when they call. She now has 10 minutes to call me or she is going to have one very pi$$ed off customer.

So now i'm sitting here waiting to talk to a manager (and will complain about last nights mananger) and also woth a $20 vodafone recharge card that is now no use to me.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Well I never received the phone call back again from a mananger . So I am going to tomorrow write a very dirty (but kinda nice) letter to them (which will be hard for me as i'm not really a writer i'm a talker). I ended up giving the recharge topup thing to my friend and she gave me the cash, but still hello how hard is it to take a customers complaint right then and there. I have names of the CSP's I spoke to and the managers names that were meant to call me back so I will be asking why they never called back ( I know I can sound like a bi*ch on the phone but thats no way to treat a customer), and what they can do about our number and what they will be doing for us for nothing after the service we received.

Let us know how it goes, Becks. My sim card has expired(which is fine - I don't use VF anymore and haven't needed use of it up until now) and I want to know what happens next. Is it as simple as just buying a new sim card? My mum rang my VF number and it's been assigned to someone else's phone!!!

I called into the local store, but they had all of two person on and about 5 customers waiting to be served, so I didn't hang around.

Becks, I have had a similar issue with vodafone! I rang the call centre about 3 times and in the end, lost the plot and told them I was waiting on hold for a manager. I then spoke to the manager who was suppose to ring me back and let me know how they got on and I have still not heard from him and that was a week ago. I wouls o change to Telecom, if I hadn't just had business cards printed!

BS - I also had the issue that they stopped my phone as I hadn't paid the bill but had no idea how much it was as no bills are being sent. When I rang I had to pay the amount there or then or no phone!
