Phone and Internet...

We have Woosh wireless broadband & we also have our phone through them too. I was very glad when we ditched our Telecom phone line as we were paying $40-odd a month for next to nothing.

I *think* our plan costs us $48.99 a month for 1100MB (1.1GB?? ). We (well it's really only me) seldom go over this amount each month but we don't download anything much.

I would highly recommend looking into Woosh as we did a lot of research when changing to broadband & what we have now is actually cheaper than our old Telecom phone line & an unlimited dial-up plan. Only thing is they may not have coverage in Waiouru but you can check here.

We are with Telstra (cabled, fastest broadband and so much better than filtered through phoneline) we pay $45 for 5GB broadband, and $36 for our phone line. So yeah $81 a month is pretty good. If it wasn't for DH and his online gaming I would go back to dial up just to save money but $45 a month is pretty good considering what others pay.

We used to have broadband with Orcon and phone with Telecom, but have just changed it all to Orcon now they bundle it.

We pay $79.95 and get 5gb broadband, and free local calls. Also includes call waiting, caller ID and voicemail.
